With a wealth of coaching experience spanning across 20 years, Tania creatively combines her sound knowledge of voice science, vocal health and the performing arts to offer practical solutions to common vocal issues. As the founder of Vocal Hub Enterprises, Tania is a vibrant and devoted vocal educator and specialises in working with adult singers and occupational voice users with her clients describing her coaching attributes as professional, fun, knowledgeable, intuitive, encouraging and empathetic.

 

With an ongoing passion for holistic voice training and care, Tania is committed to continuous professional development and is currently undertaking a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) at the University of South Australia, the process to becoming a qualified voice therapist. Tania has a special interest in vocal health for professional performers and is experienced in coaching singers and voice users who have recently recovered from vocal injury.  Tania's strength lies in working through vocal health concerns and works in conjunction with voice specialising laryngologists, speech pathologists and voice physiotherapists.  Tania is also one of six board members of the Australian Dysphonia Network, a national charity organisation dedicated to supporting people whose lives are impacted by voice disorders and is a Vocal Health First Aider with Vocal Health Education (UK)

Tania is an Estill Master Trainer Candidate and holds a Certificate of Figure Proficiency from Estill Voice Training. She greatly values the Estill Voice Training model which has complimented her own singing  for almost 15 years and is the underpinning for her teaching of vocal technique and voice function.

Tania's extensive coaching experience includes working with clients of all ages in varied educational settings. Tania coached as a part of the vocal team at the University of Adelaide's Bachelor of Musical Theatre degree for three years as well as teaching vocals for tertiary music students at TAFE SA and working with Adelaide youth theatre company Pelican Productions for a number of years. She has also taught at countless high schools and primary schools. Tania is experienced in providing voice workshops and courses in singing teaching, vocal technique and voice care and currently services voice users through Vocal Hub Education.

Tania is one of few authorised vocal instructors of Los Angeles based organisation Vocology In Practice; a global network of elite voice professionals and is also a member of The Australian Voice Association, The Australian Society for Performing Arts Healthcare and a student member of Speech Pathology Australia. Tania is also a part of the committee for the   Australian National Association of Teachers of Singing

Tania performance experience includes multiple performing arts settings such as live bands, corporate, cabaret and musical theatre. She is the founder and director of TS Entertainment Co. an Adelaide live entertainment company, home to the Adelaide Fringe award winning act The Three Little Sisters of which Tania continues to perform in and direct.  Past performance experience includes singing in her popular wedding vocal ensemble L'amour, who were recipients of 8 Australian Bridal Industry Association awards, including Top 5 Ceremony Music in Australia in 2017. Her musical theatre credits include playing the lead role of Helen of Troy in the Adelaide debut of Aussie icon Jon English's rock musical Paris.  She continues to work as a freelance singer for many Adelaide events as lead and backing singer as well as working on her new self-produced show The Aretha Hour, set to debut in 2022.

Katrina combines her unique skills as an experienced performer, educator and voice specialist to identify voice concerns and provide immediate solutions for her clients. Her knowledge and experience spans 30 years in the arts and education sectors. Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Music, Masters of Teaching and Estill Voice Training (EMT).

Katrina is a joyful communicator who is skilled at achieving results with all ages and abilities. She has a passion for facilitating authentic self-expression and communication and offers both one on one sessions and group training. 

Katrina has the skills and expertise to assist clients to be more efficient and effective vocalists through the application of the latest voice science research. As an Estill Master Trainer, Katrina is keenly invested in vocal health practices, skilled at vocal analysis and evaluation. Her application of the Estill Voice Training ™ model and work with professional singers and working musicians sees them achieve success in managing their demanding vocal load and reducing the risk of vocal injury.

Katrina’s focus is diverse covering contemporary, jazz and musical theatre having coached across many educational sectors. Katrina has coached as part of the vocal team at University of Adelaide’s Jazz Department, Adelaide youth theatre company Pelican productions as well as several independent schools including Saint Ignatius’ College and St Michaels College South Australia. Currently a member of the ANATS South Australia committee, Katrina upholds its philosophy to connect, educate and support all singing teachers.

Katrina’s extensive performing experience saw her achieve national recognition as lead singer of Etypejazz. Her performance career included working in the live music scene throughout Adelaide, festivals, support for international artists and corporate and private functions. Etypejazz recorded and independently released 11 albums throughout their career to critical acclaim and toured extensively throughout Australia and internationally. Her career highlights include touring with G'day USA in LA and New York in 2008 and 2009, sold out Fringe and Cabaret shows, Carols by Candlelight, Adelaide Symphony Orchestra performance conducted by Maestro Tommy Tyco and supporting international artists such as Sting during his Symphonicity Tour. Katrina’s recent shows have included Songs of Classic Hollywood with esteemed Musical Director Kym Purling and international jazz vocalist Anita Wardell.
